BILLING
Refund and cancellation policy
This policy applies to paid NetTree subscriptions processed by PayPal or Stripe. It explains how to stop renewal and how refund requests are handled.
Subscription and renewal
Paid plans are subscriptions. The checkout page and receipt show the plan, currency, billing interval, and amount before payment is approved. Unless you cancel, the selected payment provider renews the subscription at the stated interval.
Canceling a subscription
A workspace owner or billing administrator can cancel from Workspace settings. Cancellation stops future renewal. Once the payment provider confirms the cancellation, the workspace moves to the Free plan; existing workspace records remain available subject to our Terms and Privacy Policy. Cancellation does not by itself create a refund.
Changing a plan
A workspace owner or billing administrator can choose another paid plan or billing interval in Workspace settings. PayPal asks the subscriber to confirm the change and applies it at the next renewal. Stripe changes are managed in the Stripe billing portal and may take effect immediately, including a provider-disclosed charge or credit.
Refund requests
We review refund requests for duplicate charges, billing errors, and material service failures. Send the request from Workspace settings within 14 days of the charge and include enough detail for us to find the payment. Unused subscription time, a change of mind, and results controlled by third parties (including listings, backlinks, traffic, or rankings) are not normally refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Review and payment timing
We aim to respond within five business days. If approved, the refund is returned through the original payment provider and payment method. The time it takes to appear depends on the provider and payment method. We may ask for additional information to prevent fraud or resolve a billing dispute.
No physical returns or shipping
NetTree is an online software service. We do not sell physical goods, ship products, or require a return shipment.
